Concrete reaches enough strength for light vehicle use after about seven days, with full design strength achieved around 28 days, which is the typical benchmark for heavy duty applications.

Slab thickness depends on vehicle load. Light vehicle areas generally need 100 to 120 mm slabs, while zones that carry heavy rigid vehicles usually require slabs exceeding 150 mm for long term durability.
